Middy’s Dandenong 60th Year Anniversary
The month of October marked the 60th anniversary of Middy's trading in Dandenong.
Having opened in the late 50s, the branch first operated from Cleland Street, moving then to 9 Clow Street in the 60s, before relocating to 45-47 Bennet Street Dandenong in 1993, where it remains to this day.
To celebrate the occasion, an event was held at the Dandenong branch with customers from local and surrounding areas invited to come along and join the celebration. The Middy’s Street Machine attracted plenty of attention and the wood-fired pizza made sure that everyone was full.
Rajah Elankumaran of OAM Electrics is a very loyal customer of Middy’s Dandenong and has been dealing with the branch since 1986. Rajah wanted to show his appreciation of the branch so he created a wonderful piece of art, made entirely by hand, consisting of coloured dry coconut.
Across the day, over 100 people attended. Marko Uzarevic (Middy’s Dandenong Branch Manager) would like to thank everyone who came along to help celebrate the branch’s anniversary.
