Gold Coast 500 Race Wrap

It was a demanding weekend on the streets of Surfers Paradise, with Bryce Fullwood and the Shure Racing #14 Camaro showing strong pace and determination across both races at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

Race 28 - Forward Progress and Consistency
Starting from 21st, Bryce put in a confident drive on Saturday to climb through the field, finishing 11th after a composed and measured race. The car showed genuine speed, and Bryce's consistency in traffic was a highlight, setting up the team for a stronger Sunday showing.

Across the garage, Andre Heimgartner delivered an impressive drive to 8th, while Macauley Jones and Jaxon Evans both showed solid pace despite challenging circumstances. Macauley Jones looked on for a possible top-ten before late contact with the wall cost time, and Jaxon Evans' strong early run was cut short after being caught in another driver's crash.

Race 29 - Fighting Spirit and Team Reward
Sunday's race presented new challenges for the team. Bryce was unfortunate to be caught in an opening-lap incident that resulted in a drive-through penalty, dropping him to the back of the field. With no Safety Cars to close the pack, recovery was difficult, and he ultimately finished 21st. Despite the setback, Bryce maintained strong pace in the clear air and continued to provide valuable feedback for the team.

Meanwhile, Andre Heimgartner delivered a standout performance, showcasing superb race management and late-stint speed to secure a podium finish (3rd). Jaxon Evans came home in 14th after a balanced and consistent run, while Macauley Jones battled through early technical issues to bring his car home in 19th.

Looking Ahead

While the Gold Coast Races tested both drivers and machinery, Bryce and the Brad Jones Racing team showed resilience and progress throughout the weekend. The focus now shifts to the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 event in November, where fans will see the return of the Middy's Racing Pink Camaro on track - and the team is eager to turn the momentum into results.
