Meet The Middy's Wodonga Team

(L-R Back): Brandon Tratz, Aaron Barrow, Stephen Robinson, Jon Mirtschin, Ben Kosloff, Chris Mumberson, David Williams, Dan Hanley (L-R Front): Timothy Black, Josh Johnson

John Mirtschin - Branch Manager

Straight out of school, John worked at Clipsal in Albury for 6 years then joined the Middy's team 11 years ago. Highlights for John include his progression through the business to become Branch Manager and making friends with work colleagues and contractors. His personal business goals are to enjoy a happy work/life balance and make work enjoyable for everyone. Outside of work, John enjoys family time with his wife and two kids, mowing the lawn and catching up with family and friends over a few beers. John follows the Geelong Cats in the AFL having supported them his entire life. He also enjoys watching any American sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, etc.). John travelled overseas to the USA twice to watch the NBA, NFL and NHL in person which he cites as two of the coolest experiences of his life. He loves the way they mix sport and entertainment so well over there. John's hobbies/interests include family, sport and a refreshing VB and his greatest accomplishment to date is his two children.

Stephen Robinson - Sales Representative

Stephen is approaching 17 years at Middy's in August. There have been many good times over the years and plenty of friendships built with colleagues and customers. Stephen was working in the electrical industry in Queensland and wanted to head home to Wodonga to start a family. He put some feelers out and Middy's had a position open. Stephen brought with him a wealth of experience having previously worked at Clipsal for a decade. An exercise fanatic, Stephen exercises daily and runs around on a Thursday night at Masters Basketball. He's also looking to turn back the clock and play in the Masters AFL carnival in October. He’s been an AFL Kangaroos supporter since birth, an NRL Storm fan since 1998 when they entered the league and an NBL Melbourne United follower since 1984 when the Melbourne Tigers came on board. One of his greatest achievements includes coaching his son to winning a basketball grand final. Stephen spends his leisure time following the mighty Kiewa Sandy Creek Hawks in the local footy and is involved in junior basketball in an administrative capacity.

Timothy Black - Assistant Manager

Timothy begun his career with Middy's after a friend of his spoke very highly about working at the company. He has been with Middy's for 11 years now where he has enjoyed repping on customers, building relationships and working his way up to Assistant Branch Manager where he thrives on helping develop the capabilities of the team. He wants to help all staff enjoy their work and get a real sense of accomplishment in their roles. Timothy loves spending time with his family, camping and tinkering in his shed in his free time. He follows the AFL and NRL as an occasional Essendon supporter when they are playing well, but never misses a State of Origin series, "Go the Maroons!" He cites his coolest experience as the time when he was lucky enough to fly a two seater plane under instruction, which he absolutely loved and his greatest accomplishment to date, becoming a father to his two sons, Baxter, six and Hartley, two.

Josh Johnson - Warehouse Supervisor

Josh has worked at Middy’s for about seven years enjoying the exposure he's had to different roles in the branch and seeing how each role operates. Fresh out of uni, he decided to try working in the electrical wholesale industry, following in his dad's footsteps. Josh's personal business goal is to get the warehouse functioning to a point where he is 100% happy and then to explore a little bit of a Rep role. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games and watching movies. Not really one to follow or watch sport, but because in Victoria everyone has a team, Josh goes for the mighty Bombers and has done so his whole life. Coolest life experiences for Josh include travelling to Thailand, meeting the elephants and definitely zip lining through the jungle. His greatest accomplishment to date, surviving the first few years of fatherhood.

Come in and say hello to the team and see what Middy’s Wodonga can offer you to help you grow your business into the future.
