This course is for Licenced Electricians and teaches candidates to assemble, position and start up single-head split air-conditioning units and systems to a prescribed routine. This included wall hung, floor and ceiling suspended, cassette and ducted fan coil split systems and water heating. Students will be required to apply for a Trainee Refrigerant Handling Licence prior to attending the course. Upon successful completion students can apply for their Arctick Licence.
This course consists of a theory component which requires around 16 hours of study time before the 2 day face-to-face practical at our Training Centre. Post training you will be required to complete an install and be signed off by a Supervisor who holds a Certificate II in Air-Conditioning or higher with an Arctick Licence.

- UEERA0059 - Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings.
- UEERA0049 - Install and start up single head split air conditioning and water heating heat pump systems.
- UEERA0064 - Recover, pressure test, evacuate, charge and leak test refrigerants - split systems.
- UEECD0027 - Participate in development and floow a personal competency development plan.
