On behalf of everyone at BCNA we want to give the team at Middy’s a massive shout out for this year’s Pink Tradie campaign – more than $10K – we are blown away. We will put your incredible generosity to great use by ensuring the 20,000 women and men diagnosed this year with breast cancer can access the best information and connect with others who have walked the path before them. You can be sure that we will never stop until everyone diagnosed and those living with breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support. Thank you for helping us! - Kirsten Pilatti (CEO) BCNA.

#BCNAPinkTradie Competition
The competition was fierce and it was great to see everyone showing their support by wearing their Pink Tradie Beanie and or Footy Socks (NT). However, there can only be one winner.

Congratulations to Tammy Vos from TTS Electrics who has won a $500 Middy’s Voucher.

This year alone, it’s predicted that 20,030 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. BCNA works to ensure that every one of these people receives the very best care, treatment, and support.

By supporting BCNA you are therefore helping them make a difference for all Australians affected by breast cancer. Here's a snapshot of their recent work:
  • BCNA has called for a plan to address pandemic-related breast screening service closures and their impact on early detection
  • They have successfully advocated for a wide range of breast cancer treatments to be added to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, to reduce their cost and increase access
  • They have highlighted the significant emotional impact of long delays in breast reconstruction surgery, occurring due to COVID-19 and the disruption of hospital services
In addition, BCNA has continued to develop and provide resources such as:
  • The new My Journey App and symptom tracker, allowing easy access to up to date and personalised information
  • Informative new webcasts and podcasts giving those in those in lockdown or in regional and remote communities greater access to information and support
Middy’s commitment to proudly support the work of BCNA is ongoing.

Any Middy’s Merchandise that is gifted to our customers will be provided with a postcard which provides instructions of how to make a donation via SMS. Simply text MIDDYS to 0476 000 111 and follow the prompts. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month stay tuned for further details.
